Loch Etive Integrated Coastal Zone Management meeting

There will be a public meeting on Tuesday 26th January in Connel Hall from 19.00-21.00hrs, to discuss the Loch Etive Integrated Coastal Zone Management plan.

Argyll and Bute Council is restarting a project to develop an Integrated Coastal Zone Management (ICZM) Plan for Loch Etive. This will seek to provide guidance on the future use and development of this important coastal area.

The project area includes all of Loch Etive extending west of the Connel narrows to include Ardmucknish Bay and Dunstaffnage Bay.

Argyll and Bute Council has completed an ICZM plan for Loch Fyne and it is envisaged that the Loch Etive Plan and process of plan development will be similar.  The Loch Fyne Plan can be viewed on the Council website.

A public meeting has been arranged in Connel Hall on Tuesday 26th January which is open to everyone – but in particular those who live adjacent to, or who work on Loch Etive.
