Twenty-seven month old pony, Westmore Destiny, champion at Bute Show for second time

Twenty-seven month old pony, Westmore Destiny, owned by Laura McArthur and handled by David McMillan, was crowned champion of champions for the second time at Bute Agricultural Society’s annual show.

Destiny, who won the title in 2006, beat off stiff competition from Bute and beyond and took the show’s top award for a second time in front of a big crowd at Rothesay’s new Showfield.

Last year Destiny was made the in-hand Supreme Champion at Edinburgh’s Royal Highland Show, qualifying him to go to The Horse of The Year Show in Birmingham last October. You have to say he’s been well-named.
