Argyll and Bute Council wants to let people living in the Helensburgh and Lomond area know that work to realign the A814 between Cardross and Helensburgh is due to begin on Wednesday 5th January 2009.

The work will be carried out near the access to Cardross Crematorium. It should be completed by March.

While the work is ongoing, the road will be reduced to a single lane controlled by traffic lights. All possible effort will be made to minimise disruption to road users and to complete the work in as short a timescale as possible.
