The Bruichladdich Distillery on Islay has reported record profits of £830,000 for 2007. The rise in single malt sales was supported by new products like the Renegade Rums, Murray McDavid, PC7, Redder Still and The Eighteen. With a new warehouse built last year to house increased whisky stocks worth £13.7 million, Managing Director Mark Reynier points out: ‘Our profits are entirely reinvested in more stocks and improving our operations’.
