Self Employed Contract
The Family Fund provides grants to families caring for disabled and seriously ill children.
Family Fund Advisers meet local families in their own homes to assess their eligibility for help from the Fund. The work is on a self-employed contract basis.
Applications are invited from individuals with a recognised social work, teaching or health related qualification; or three years work experience at equivalent level; and current or very recent experience of working directly with children with disabilities.
Candidates should also have skills in ICT and use of a suitable computer as all assessments are completed electronically.
Candidates must live in or very close to the area they are applying for.
