Comment posted Good appointment to council press office by Michael Banks.

Yes newsie, you are welcoming her now, but i wonder how long it will be before you turn on her when she doesn’t want to deal with you. Never mind, no doubt you can make up something and add a gate to the end of it. I wish the woman all the luck in the world, she will need it.

Yes Newsroom, where is your evidence that these spy accounts existed? I distinctly recall reading on here that ‘Jo Smith operated several spy accounts’, maybe you just dreamed it.

Actually Newsroom, you just read some innocuous e-mails and put your own spin on them. As others have pointed out it was Oban FM’s decision, Smith had nothing to do with it.
  • Council advertises Communications Manager job – so what happened with Jo Smith?
No point in asking Newsie to recap anything as she clearly has no clue and on this matter there is the truth and the is the rubbish that Newsie comes up with.

According to the OT she was dismissed in August after being cleared of all the ‘false’ allegations of using spy accounts to spy on critics of the council. She was dismissed for bring the council into disrepute for using the word ‘spy’ in a presentation. I summarise there, but that is the gist of it.

Because Newsie is too lazy or too stupid i dug this out of the councils archives. look for yourself

So in other words, there were no spy accounts, never, no evidence of them, no victims, no spying, full stop. For some reason Newsie refuses to accept this fact, probably because it makes her look rather foolish.

Poor Newsie, hasn’t got a clue, but what’s new?
  • More self-inflicted damage on Facebook
Well Crazy it looks like she has removed it. It was a picture of a young woman doing what young women do in a jokey manor. It had absolutely no bearing on her ability to do her job. It was buried deep in her profile so must have taken some digging out by some sad individual. I wonder who that was? No doubt she is too busy frantically searching for more photos on some other unsuspecting councillors private life.
