Vehicles Damaged

Between 1.00pm on Saturday 16th and 7.00am on Monday 18th July, the Gate of a Storage Tunnel at the Power Station at Cairndow, was forced open and two vehicles inside were damaged by being scratched and having tyres punctured. Police are investigating the incident and are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with any information to contact them on 101 or anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Theft from Fairground Shows

Between 9.00pm on Monday 18th July and 9.00am on Tuesday 19th July, one of the stalls at the Fairground Shows on Lochgilphead Front Green was entered and several footballs were stolen. Police investigated the incident and subsequently on 24th July, a man [19] was arrested and charged with the offence. All the footballs have now been recovered and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

Theft of Tins of Paint

Between Monday 6th June and 6.00pm on Monday 18th July, a store at the rear of Kingsway, Tarbert was entered and 3 Tins of Paint were stolen. Police are investigating the incident and are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with any information to contact them on 101 or anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Vehicle Damaged – Witness Appeal

Between 2.00pm and 2.30pm on Wednesday 20th July, on Union Street, Lochgilphead, a white coloured Toyota Rav4 motor car, was damaged by another vehicle which failed to stop. Police are investigating and are appealing for any witness or anyone with any information to contact them on 101.

About 4.15pm on Monday 18th July, on the A83 near to Loch Fyne Oyster Bar, a brown coloured Vauxhall Astra motor car, was struck and damaged by a motorcycle which failed to stop. Police are investigating and are appealing for any witness or anyone with any information to contact them on 101.

Theft of Inflatable Dingy

Between 3.00pm on Monday 18th July and 4.00pm on Wednesday 20th July, a grey coloured, 4 person Wetline Inflatable Dingy was stolen from the Foreshore on Pier Road, Tarbert. Police are investigating the incident and are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with any information to contact them on 101 or anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Theft of Mountain bike

Between 11.30pm on Tuesday 19th July and 8.00am on Wednesday 20th July, a dark grey coloured Orbea Mountain bike was stolen from Corranbeg House, Ardfern. Police are investigating the incident and are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with any information to contact them on 101 or anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Trespass [Lodging without Consent] and Abusive Behaviour

About 1.10pm on Saturday 23rd July a man (48) was allegedly abusive when found in a chalet in Ardfern without consent to be there. The man was later traced, arrested and charged and held for court. A report was submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

Abusive Behaviour

About 5.00pm on Saturday 23rd July, in Garval Road, Tarbert, a 38 year old man allegedly behaved in an abusive manner. The man was traced by Police, charged with the offence and issued with a £40 Fixed Penalty Notice.
