Tractor Damaged on Farm – Witness Appeal

Between 3.00pm on Sunday 13th and 8.00am on Monday 14th December, at Killinochonoch Farm, Kilmichael Glassary, an incident occurred where a tractor in an open shed was damaged by another vehicle. Police are investigating and are appealing for any witness to contact them on 101 or anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Possession of Drugs

About 1.30pm, on Monday 21st December, on the A83 about 3 miles south of Tarbert, a car was stopped and searched and two men, aged 25 & 28 years and a woman, aged 23 years were allegedly found to be in possession of a quantity of cannabis. A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

Failing to comply with conditions of Driving Licence & No Insurance

About 3.15pm on Tuesday 22nd December, on the A83, near to Kilmory Industrial Estate, Lochgilphead, a car was stopped by Police for a routine check. Subsequently it was established that the driver, a 73 year old man, was allegedly driving while failing to comply with conditions of his driving licence and without Insurance. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.


About 12.05am on Thursday 4th December, following a report of a disturbance at a Hotel in Inveraray, a 25 year old man and a 24 year old woman were detained. They were both later charged with alleged abusive behaviour and the woman was also charged with allegedly assaulting the man. A report was submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
