Leiper Gallery Winter Exhibition goes for large number of small paintings in group show

The innovative central Glasgow art gallery, the Leiper Gallery at 117 West George Street, has made a curatorial decision about its Winter 2015 exhibition which should make dropping in for a look around a very pleasureable experience.

The Leiper’s Argyll connection is through its owner, Ewan Kennedy, former solicitor and doughty lock forward of the continuing Save Seil Sound environmental challenge group opposed to the expansion of ill regulated commercial fish farms.

The Winter Exhibition catalogue – online here – shows some nostalgic mixed media images of ship building by Adam Kennedy, some attention grabbing surreal images by Saul Robertson, some colourist pieces by Ronald F Smith and some powerful moods in the same face by Margaretann Bennett.
