Police Scotland, Lochgilphead: police reports for week to 30th December 2013

Between 4pm on Saturday 21st December and 4pm on Monday 23rd December a blue Renault Megane car was vandalised while parked in Coran Court, Lochgilphead by having its bodywork scratched by unknown means.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to contact them on telephone number 101.

Between 6pm on Saturday 28th December and 2.30pm on Sunday 29th December, a window was smashed by a stone to the premises of the Royal Mail Delivery Office, Tarbert.

About 00.25am on Saturday 28th December, an 18 year old male was assaulted on the A83, near to Paterson Street, Lochgilphead, suffering minor injuries. A 20 year old male has been charged with assault and a report submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

Drink Driving
At 3.38am on Sunday 29th December a 19 year old male was detected by police for riding a motorcycle on the A83 near Ardrishaig whilst under the influence of alcohol.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
