Police Scotland Lochgilphead: police reports for week to 23rd December 2013

Theft of Industrial Batteries
Between 2am and 6.20am on Wednesday 18th December a quantity of batteries used to power a set of temporary traffic lights on the A83 approximately 5 miles south of Inveraray were stolen, rendering the traffic lights inoperable.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to contact them on telephone number 101.

Vandalism
Between 2pm on Thursday 19th December and 12 noon on Friday 20th December, a red coloured Volkswagen Passat was vandalised while parked on Dun Mor Avenue, Kilmory by having its bodywork scratched.

At 4am on Sunday 22nd December a window was smashed by unknown means to a house in Union Terrace, Manse Brae, Lochgilphead.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to contact them on telephone number 101.

Theft of Boxes
Between midnight on Thursday 19th December and 3am on Friday 20th December a lorry, parked within Lorne Street car park, Lochgilphead was entered and a quantity of boxes containing items taken.

Theft of Scaffolding Equipment
Between 8.30am on Saturday 21st December and 6.15am on Sunday 22nd December a large quantity of scaffolding material were stolen from a secure area within the Kilmory Industrial Site, Lochgilphead. Due to the amount taken, a large vehicle would have been required to have taken the items and Police are appealing for any witnesses to contact them on telephone number 101.
