Help from Seafarers’ Children’s Support

A parent facing tough times bringing up their children, may apply to the Seafarers’ Children’s Support charity – if either they or their partner has worked at sea.

They may have served with the Royal Navy, the Merchant Navy  on on ferries or the fishing fleets – onboard cruise ships, cargo boats, tankers,  ferries or fishing boats.

Seafarers’ Children’s Support offers grants for children, holidays and home computers – or they can just be there to be talked to whenever that would help.

This is one of those very organic charities targetd on looking after their own, creating the reality of a community of those linked by all varieties of service on the sea.

Contact them online – linked above – or by phone on: 0800 0556 558
