A free jewellery workshop is a bonus from the success of last night’s, 5th July, opening of the Glasgow School of Art Exhibition at Dunoon Burgh Hall.
The Jewellery workshop will be led by Stefanie Cheong and will run from 12.00 to 3.00pm on Friday 12th July.
Everyone interested is welcome to drop in.
And there are still a few places left for ‘Soundtrack to Your Life’ – running from the 5th-9th August, an opportunity for 10-16 year olds to work with the Royal Conservatoire.
This is a week long Summer School for young people, with experienced drama tutors from the Conservatoire – and is a custom-designed theatre experience.
During the week, those taking part will explore their connection to the songs that have shaped their lives and work together creatively to develop performance skills, creating a unique piece of theatre around the importance of music and song in our lives.
The Summer School runs at the Burgh Hall, every day from 5th to 9th August, from 10-30am to 3.15pm daily – and the final performance event, which can be shared with friends and family, is at 2.00pm on 9th August. Everyone brings their own packed lunch and drinks each day.
Email firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested in one of the remaining places.
