Winds see cancellation today of new Campbeltown Ardrossan ferry

CalMac announced around half an hour ago that today’s, Sunday 23rd June, sailings of the new ferry running between Campbeltown and Ardrossan in Ayrshire has been cancelled due to NW winds gusting at over 38 mph.

The ferry was meant to leave Ardrossan just after midday, arriving in Campbeltown at 16.30,  turning around in 25 minutes to leave Campbeltown for the return trip to Ardrossan at 16.55.
