Police Scotland Lochgilphead: police reports for week to 25th June 2013

Speeding
At 7.45pm on Tuesday 18th June a 27 year old male was stopped by police on the A83 at Kilmory after he was detected driving at 52mph in a 30mph area.

At 2.27pm on Sunday 23rd June a 29 year old male was stopped by police on the A83 at Kilmory after he was detected driving at 42mph in a 30mph area.

At 9.15am on Monday 24th June a 49 year old male was stopped by police on the A83 near to Inveraray after he was detected driving at 48mph in a 30mph area. The male was also reported for failing to wear a seatbelt and for driving with no valid insurance.

Assault
At 10am on Monday 24th June a 32 year male was assaulted while within a licensed premise in Tarbert. A 41 year old male was arrested and a report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal for the incident.

Breach of Bail
At 1.55am on Thursday 20th June a 47 year old male breached bail conditions imposed by the Courts in that he attended a property in Lochgilphead which his bail conditions stated he was not allowed to. The male was arrested and was detained in custody.

He attended court the following day, at which time his bail conditions were reviewed and stricter conditions were imposed, being that he did not enter the town of Lochgilphead.
On Sunday 23rd June the male was seen in Lochgilphead and after enquiries was arrested and detained in custody to attend court on Tuesday 25th June.
