Heroes Challenge UK on way to Campbeltown

The Heroes Challenge UK team – raising money for Help for Heroes – left Oban this morning on a 107 mile cycle ride to Campbeltown.

They should be arriving in Campbeltown around 18.00 tonight – and will be leaving tomorrow morning, with the endurance team rowing Celtic Longboats out of Campbeltown Loch, to Sanda Island and on to Ballycastle on the north coast of Ireland.

Try to get out to cheer them on and welcome them in

All donations will be hugely welcome – you can donate online here. Help for Heroes, which exists to help wounded members of the armed services – is an even more poignant charity today, following the recent barbaric butchery of a young soldier in London.
