Tarbert VIllage Hall now a conference venue

Already a popular wedding venue, the new Tarbert Village Hall is now also geared up as a capable and attractive  conference venue.

The premises are modern, comfortable and offer a main hall with seating capacity up to 150 – along with smaller rooms that can be used for break-out sessions.

The acoustics in the main hall are excellent and a wireless PA system is installed to assist speakers – along with a hearing loop for the benefit of members of the audience.

Screens for video and slide presentations are also available.

There are state of the art kitchen facilities on the premises and outside caterers can make full use of these.

There is a car park and good hotel and B&B accommodation nearby.

With the ambience of this totally unforgettable bayside fishing and sailing village, what’s not to like about taking a conference there.

There are away days and there are away days Рand the addition of this facility in Tarbert means that the CalMac Tarbert-Portavadie ferry  Рsoon to be the second new hybrid, now has unique conference venues available at either destination Рwith the Portavadie Marina on the Cowal end.

Which inventive events organiser will be the first to make use of both of them?

For further details on the onstream availability of the Tarbert venue, phone John Hunt on 01880820272.

  1. Hi, please note that John Hunt died suddenly some time ago. I suggest that” Kintyre Electrical shop ” be used instead of his name. Same phone number. Congratulations on the quality of your website.

  2. Have you seen the prices? I looked into the idea of hiring it as a conference venue but the cost prevented me from doing so. I used the Tarbert Arts Centre instead. OK the venue is smaller but there are still breakout rooms, a small kitchen and the views are lovely.

  3. Lowry, you are correct in this, an additional factor on not using this hall for conference was its rather unfriendly feel. We found the hall on main street far more accessible and a warmer welcome.
