Course on using VHF radio

This is an approved course leading to an RYA [Royal Yacht Association] qualification.

The course includes the procedures of the Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS) including Digital Selective Calling (DSC).

During the course, students will use marine radios and become competent with GMDSS. Routine, distress, urgency and safety procedures.

It takes place in Lochgilphead on 16th March 2013, from 09.30 to 16.00, at the Mid Argyll Youth Project in Union Street.
