Argyll Mausoleum event on archaeology and artefacts

Nearing the moment when the Argyll Mausoleum at St Munn’s Church in Kilmun in Cowal will be closed for its major restoration, the fundraising events continue.

On 8th March, at 6.00pm in Kilmun Younger Hall, there are two talks by experts in their various fields, both of which should be compulsive listening.

John Atkinson from GUARD Archaeology is talking on the subject What Lies Beneath – a topical matter with the skeleton of Richard III so recently found under a car park in Lancaster.

Then stone conservator Nic Boyes talks on Set in Stone, focusing on artefacts.

Admission to the event is £4 and includes refreshments.
