The Creation Station: arts and crafts classes for tinies

The Creation Station – fun name – is a new initiative for Oban and its hinterland for 2013. That’s for starters.

Next is the proof it brings of ambitions and enterprise in Argyll’s young people.

This project has been launched by a young mother – who knows what’s needed and developmental, since this is a service aimed at babies, toddlers and children up to the age of eleven.

The classes are educational and are run in accordance with the Preschool learning alliance.

They run during all school terms and will also be provide events during the holidays – and parties.  ’Arty Parties’ – something different for a child’s birthday – are obviously a speciality.

Everyone is welcome to come along to the weekly sessions, which cost £5 or £2.50 per sibling when more than one child in one family is taking part.

Childminders also receive a 50% discount for every child after the first in a group. Spaces must be booked as there is a limit to the numbers admitted.

Arrangements for the classes are:

Tuesdays:  Oban Guide Hall, 10.00-10.50am
Thursdays:  Connel Church Hall, 10.25-11.15am

To book or to make further enquiries, email Victoria Gage at:
and check it out on facebook at ‘Creation Station Oban’.

It’s worth  noting that Victoria has told us that she’s very busy already.
