[Update: warnings cleared} The A82 around Tyndrum and the A83 around Rest and Be Thankful have had snowfalls.
Both roads are open – as of 08.15 – but drivers are advised to exercise care driving in these conditions. This applies to all roads in the Strathclyde region, with low temperature and the possibility of snow and ice pretty widespre3ad.
And – surprise, surprise, the Rest & Be Thankful traffic cameras have failed.

RW I’m beginning to think you’re bad luck to these A83 signs and camera systems.
A bubble of electronic voodoo as you wend your way along Argylls highways and byways, I am sure you will be Transport Scotland’s favourite travel commentator.
That aside, drive safely, one wouldn’t wish it any other way.
