Careless Driving
About 2.30pm on Tuesday 16th October, a collision occurred between a Rennault Traffic van, a Vauxhall Astra and a Skoda Fabia, on the A83 near to Quarry Point, Minard, subsequently a 49 year old man was charged with alleged Careless Driving. No persons were injured as a result of the collision and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
Breach of the Peace
About 6.40pm on Tuesday 16th September, a disturbance was reported in a Flat on West Bank Road, Ardrishaig. Police attended and subsequently a 53 year old woman was arrested and charged with alleged Abusive Behaviour. A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
No Insurance
About 1.40pm on Wednesday 17th October, a silver Mazda motor car was stopped by Police on the A83 near Lochgilphead. Subsequently a 22 year old man was charged with driving without Insurance and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
Disturbance
About 6.30pm on Saturday 20th October, a disturbance was reported in Argyll Street, Lochgilphead, subsequently a 37 year old man was subdued with CS spray, arrested and charged with Breach of the Peace, Culpable and Reckless Conduct and Possession of a Knife. A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
Traffic Offences
On Saturday 20th October and Sunday 21st October, 4 men and 1 woman were allegedly driving at excessive speed on the A83 at Lochgilphead, £60 Fixed penalty tickets with 3 penalty points were issued.
