You have to worry about the corporate health of the Met Office.
Its weather report for the Strathclyde area for tomorrow is carrying the following gem of conspiracy theory:
‘Late in the day more organised heavier showers developing in western coastal areas.’












I’ve often thought that some of the language used in forecasts is a bit silly. Another one is commonly used by that Carol woman on breakfast TV: “there will be sunshine on offer”. Does that mean we could refuse it?

In a country so affected by the ever changing weather it is a pity that the Met Office is mocked for its precise descriptive language. I guess some just prefer to criticise rather than bothering to appreciate the information being given.
