Happy days… although very wet days on the Tunnocks Mull Rally 2012.
After the first leg and at the end of day one, local hero Calum Duffy leads the rally from Tony Bardy with another Mulleach, John McCrone, in third.
It has been tough on the splashy stages but Duffy is making the best of it…he was 2 seconds a mile faster than Bardy and 51 seconds faster than the last non-Muileach to conquer the twisty single tracks …that was 10 years ago.
Eddie O’Donnell is 5th and top Oban driver Stewart Morrison is 25th in the Flit sponsored Escort.
