12.00 25th September: A mains fault has caused a power outage in the Mid Argyll area of Minard to Furnace,
This is affecting around 430 households,
An engineer is to be at the scene at 12.30, with all power supplies hoped to be restored by 15.00.
A tree is down across the powerlines at Inveraray Castle. This seems to be a second power outage, to be reviewd at 14.00
15;00!!! Minard’s power wasn’t restored until 21;30. Still, looking on the bright side (pun intended), the moonlit sky, free of light pollution, was reward enough for the inconvenience.
