This Saturday – 29th September - is the AGM for the Friends of Auchindrain, held at the Tea Room of the township
starting at 2.30 pm with refreshments.
Mike Masters, Chair of the Friends, will introduce Auchindrain’s Development Director, Bob Clark, to sum up what is described as ‘a busy exciting year’ for the historic farm township.
Alison Hay, Chair of the Trustees, will update everyone on the situation with regard to a future which remains unknown, with a seemingly promising evolving relationship with Historic Scotland as yet nor much developed.
Mike Masters will talk about the Friends have been up to during the year and lead the formal part of the meeting.
Then Jill Bowis will give lively insights into the proposed Community History project, intended to explore and learn more about the people and local community of the township.
Everyone from anywhere is invited to join the session, enjoy a bowl of homemade soup and bread, with the chat over the current art exhibition from the members of Artmap Argyll: Echoes of the Past.
