Yesterday afternoon (14th September) search teams found a body near Stob Dubh, a Corbett in the mountain area in mid Glen Etive. This is well north of Ben Starav where the missing 70 year old Scot had been thought to be walking.
Northern Constabulary, Strathclyde Police, Oban Mountain Rescue, Glencoe Mountain Rescue, RAF Leuchars Mountain Rescue, an SAR helicopter and dogs have been searching for this walker who has been missing since 12:00 on Wednesday 12th September.
As yet, no formal identification has been carried out.
