The Artist at Tarbert Film club

Tarbert Film Club is back on Saturday i8th September, after its summer break.

They will be launching the new season by screening the smash hit of the 2012 awards ceremonies – the modern take on the world of silent film: The Artist.

Although starring two French actors: Jean Dujardin and Bérénice Bejo, by general acclamation the real star is Uggie the dog, prompting calls for a ‘Best Animal Actor’ award in future Oscars.

The screening will start at 8.00pm in the Templars Hall in Tarbert, with complimentary refreshments available from 7:30pm. Full details are at the Tarbert Film Club website.
