The Screen and Broadcast Industries for the Highlands and Islands has included the latest MOVE film from Argyll’s Wild Biscuit in the tour programme for screening at the following Festivals:
- Tiree Music Festival: 21-22nd July (in train)
- Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival: 3-4th August
- Loopallu Festival: 21-22 September
Festival goers will find it in the ‘Five Minute Wonders Film Tent’ – and will find it well worth a viewing.
MOVE is the highly inventive and visually spectacular fusion of traditional music – with a twist – married to the equally breathtaking skills of Scotland’s number one Hip Hop crew, Random Aspekts.
A stage show in origna and performance, its creative fusion of high level musical and dance skills has made its short film presentation a widespread hit.
The performance team includes pipers and drummers from Argyll, with renowned professional musicians brought together by Wild Biscuit with Random Aspekts, under the direction of in-house guitarist and composer, John Saich, a former member of Capercaillie.
There could hardly be three better festivals to showcase this innovative work widely.
