Mid Argyll weekly police reports to 15th July

Breach of the Peace
About 5am on Friday 13th July, a disturbance occurred at a flat in Campbell Street, Lochgilphead. Subsequently a 23 year old local woman was arrested and charged with an alleged Breach of the Peace. A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

Vandalism
About 1am on Saturday 14th July 2012, a Satellite dish at the rear of the flats at 16 Lochnell Street, Lochgilphead was damaged. Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with any information to call Lochgilphead Police on 01546 702200.

Speeding
On Saturday 14th July 2012, 3 women motorists were detected exceeding the speed limit on the A83 near Kilmory, Lochgilphead. The drivers were issued with Fixed Penalty tickets which carry a £60 Fine and 3 points on their driving licence.

Urinating
About 2.30am on Sunday 15th July 2012, in Union Street, Lochgilphead, a 52 year old local man was charged for allegedly urinating in the street. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
