Comment posted Real reason for Chancellor’s hint at referendum on Europe by Gerry Fisher.
Does newsroom really believe that David Cameron, or Alex Salmond for that matter, would recommend agreement to a Treaty which gave the EU Commission powers over the annual budget of the UK – or an independent Scotland?

Your “credible sources” are just incredible. Or you get these reports from within your head, for reasons I dont understand being unacqainted with psychiatric science.
But I do ask myself – “WHY?” - Update on SNP meeting
Newsroom:
You really have to face the facts.
You are being fed LIES by someone whom you believe is in a position to know the truth about various matters in and around the SNP and the Council.
Either that or these stories come from your fecund imagination.
I only wish I knew who is your “source”, if anyone, and more importantly why he (or she)is at it. Perhaps you should ask yourself that question – it might put the “truth” in perspective.
But you, however, should face the facts, 2 out of 3 of your pieces in the last few weeks are based on nothing more than lies or imagination. This is not anything I, or you, would elevate to the standard of journalism.ps And my identity is correct, and actionable by anyone who is prepared to put their version before a jury.
- SNP Constituency Association Convener’s email tells a tale
Voxpop:Problem with “local” not “party” councillors is that they appeal for votes on the basis of the “good guy” label. They do not believe it is necessary to have a manifesto, or even the basis of a programme for government, certainly not for change. So they end up as the lobby fodder for someone like Cllr Walsh who knows he wants power, doesnt have to say what he will do with it, and can have the fodder wait to see which way he will jump before they make up what they would think was their opinion, even their minds.”Party” representatives are elected on the basis of a manifesto, a promise, to their electorste and are accountable to the voters when they wish to be re-elected. If you havent promised anything (except perhaps to do your best) it is a bit difficult to be held accountable for nothing specific.
- SNP departures from administration – was money a factor?
See above – the statement was nonsense.
