Oban Bay Marine share success in thanking supporters – and get back to work

Oban May Marine is delighted at the announcement that planning consent for amended proposals for a short stay 60-berth visitor pontoon transit marina for the heart of Oban bay has now been received.

The company say: ‘We would like to thank everyone who has shown continued support over the past few months … and especially those who publicly responded on our behalf not once, but because of procedural technicalities, twice in the past few weeks.

‘OBM are very pleased to have been able to work progressively with interested parties around Oban bay in taking the project another step forward, and look forward to continuing to make headway in securing this long awaited facility for the benefit of Oban.’

The company has changed its format to allow people to convert their support into a financial investment, should they so wish.

An energetic response to this opportunity will be a muscular part of the business case for the project and has the capacity to generate communal interest and commitment to drive its success.

Elaine Lauder says: ‘I would really like to thank all those who have sent congratulations and well wishes today … really really appreciated… and simply remind everyone we will be here for the long haul….’

OBM has the track record to leave no one in any doubt about that.
