In its article today, recording the arrival on Loch Ness of the 250-passenger loch cruise catamaran, the Jacobite Warrior, The Herald carries a location map for the loch. (Article and outline location map are on Page 12.)
This shows Inverness to the north, Drumnadrochit, centre of Loch Ness Monstership and the Clansman Harbour – out of which the Warrior will ply its trade until its custom built premises nine miles south of Inverness, are ready.
With the dramatic ruins at Castle Urquhart on the west bank of the loch, the focal point for loch cruises – apart from the hoped-for flick of Nessie’s tail – it is odd that the paper had not accurately located that much photographed castle.
It has moved it to a position comfortably beside the Clansman Harbour and north of Drumnadrochit.
