Perhaps at Sandbank they’re hoping that better opening hours will give it a real boost. I for one would prefer to be able to use a post office in the evenings. - Police to establish if remains at Edinburgh beauty spot are Suzanne Pilley’s

Getting facts right is quite important before making this type of post Sharkman (I should know, I’ve made the same type of mistakes before) because it’s all too easy to look foolish when the facts emerge.
It may be a technicality, but Scotland has no offence known as arson. Events constituting arson in English Law might be dealt with as one or more of a variety of offences such as Wilful Fire-Raising, Culpable and Reckless Conduct, Vandalism or other offences depending on the circumstances of the event. The more serious offences (in particular Wilful Fire-raising and Culpable and Reckless Conduct) can incur a sentence of life imprisonment.
Perhaps an apology to Mr McCormick is in order?
