CalMac services into Port Ellen on Islay resume Sunday 1st July

A CalMac spokesperson has confirmed that CalMac’s ferry service between Kennacraig and Port Ellen will resume its normal published timetable in Sunday 1st July with the 09.45 sailings from each of the two ports.

The service to Port Askaig will continue as timetabled.

The reversion to normal service comes after the months of infrastructural work by Caledonian Maritime Assets Ltd (CMAL) at Port Ellen, which meant that all services out of Kennacraig to the island had to go in and out of Port Ellen.

The works at Port Ellen are now complete and 1st July is a neat beginning of the full summer season service to Islay.
