The video from RESCUE 137 has the position …

Comment posted BBC news piece with helicopter footage of derailed freight train on West Highland Line by Lundavra.

The video from RESCUE 137 has the position of the helicopter displayed at the bottom of the frame. I converted it to NGR and looked up on the map as none of the news reports gave the position. It is about 2.5 miles from Fersit so about 2 miles from the nearest road (or track) by the East end of the dam.

  • Jim Murphy hit by eggs in Kirkcaldy
There were reports a week or so ago of Murphy being harassed by a SNP mob in Elgin(???) a week or so ago. Usual technique of being surrounded by people carrying banners who shouted him down. Makes you wonder if they have an organised operation to follow him around to disrupt his personal campaign.
  • Sturgeon hits the floating voter in a Q&A session to Shetland on MV Hrossey
What a horrible thought, trapped on the ferry with Sturgeon, presumably they will have the event in the bar as that seems the natural home of SNP supporters.
  • Indy, the banks and the Scottish economy
I have asked in various places about Scottish banknotes post separation. I think at the moment they have to deposit an equivalent sum with the Bank of England.

I suppose they could issue notes without doing that but I suspect they would not be trusted and the odd problems now with Scottish banknotes outside Scotland would be nothing compared with what would happen in that situation.

  • Indy, the banks and the Scottish economy
I have never heard Scottish politicians having any worries about sharing the revenue from the gas fields that are predominantly South of the border.

I see there is talk of keeping the income from the fracking fields in the North of England in that area.

Just wait until the City of London decide the benefits they bring to the UK economy should stay in the City.

  • Indy, the banks and the Scottish economy
An account can be anywhere, my main account has been in North Wales for fifty years. Never seen any reason to move it and certainly will not be doing so if there is any danger of a Yes vote. I have accounts in Scotland but will probably move most of their contents.
