Comment posted Kintyre’s Wind Towers signs Memorandum of Understanding with Burcote wind by morag.
Strangely, this company Burcote Wind, have NO current turbines installed. The boss Graham Brown actually has his headquarters in Northampton, where he lives. He seems to be a consultant gathering investors for this wind co.
Is this a get rich scheme??? Or are they really concerned about the environment!!

- Russell back in the bathtub, now trying to sink Keith Brown’s boat
You Newsroom, have completely and totally lost the plot. - Most constructive move yet from the slomo pro-union side
I’m disappointed that you think the NO’s will be “…destructively bitter…”Yes, very worrying indeed!!!lol
- Will broadband, phone, postal and online purchase costs be the deal breaker on independence?
I have only one question for those in the no and undecided camp.
If all your queries were resolved regarding Independence, and I mean all, would you vote yes?and if not…why? - Russell presence at council administration away day raises concerns
And here we have ife, such an upstanding man, content to castigate, lie and turn facts on their heads while hiding his identity. In the world of www that is currently known as TROLLING.I’m with Dot and Iain, I’ve purposely visited this site less and less as the insanity has increased.
It’s impossible to debate on here,no-one is bringing sound evidence or sensible offerings.I’m fearful that if I hang around the infection may spread and I too will start frothing at the mouth and delivering spittle-flecked diatribes……you get the picture? Sorry, but there is a big internet land out there, full of far more interesting and useful discussions.
Perhaps when Independent, many voices on here will be silent……what a delicious thought. - Jackie Baillie MSP not invited to council administration away day
Perhaps only those that do zero action but plenty mouth were not required to attend!!!!!!

There’s something about Burcote’s website that’s slightly strange – as a ‘new kid on the block’ that has yet to bring a project to formal planning application stage, it seems strange that there’s no hard information on the background and experience of any of the ‘team members’, and the fact that the ‘investor team member’ operates under a pseudonym – ‘Hotbed’ – seems rather odd. However, one of the partners in Wind Towers Ltd is Scottish & Southern Energy, and presumably they’ve done their homework before entering into an agreement with another company, however loose. Warning: if you read the very small print at the foot of Burcote’s front page, and click on ‘legal information and privacy policy’ you’ll find that you’ve apparently entered into a legal agreement, and can be tracked. Good luck.

Morag, I think the term ‘venture capitalist’ is the name you are looking for.
If you owned a windy hill and someone knocked on your door and said for no outlay I can make you thousands a year for the windy hill and you were a typical estate owner in Scotland you would jump with joy. If you see the thousands of miles carved across the highlands by the estate owners and the forestry commission you would know that the planning rules in Scotland are as corrupt as you can get.
Put in planning for a quarry at Kentallen and everyone jumped about objecting but at the same time the real objective. GlenSanda, went sailing through. Same at Kishorn, Plockton was the bluff all those years ago. People need to realise that huge planning applications are a bluff, these people will use any underhanded way to realise their end game. MONEY MONEY MONEY
