Comment posted Lochgilphead primary pupil’s internet exposure of poor school meals goes viral by Lundavra.
It is being featured on You and Yours at the moment including an interview with Martha and her father as well as a spokesperson from the council (Jane Murphy).

- I wonder how much the council have spent on PR advice on handling this?
- I suppose that Martha needs to photograph all the choices each day even if they are not all posted to the blog.
I am very surprised that they have not tried to ban photography on school premises as they are entitled to do though it would be taken to mean they are embarrassed about the choices.

- Storm tally and situation review
I suspect that often when the BBC do get it wrong then it is because of Traffic Scotland giving them wrong information which they are notorious for doing.
Perhaps the Transport Secretary is handling the information, he was reported to be in Traffic Scotland bunker today.
- First Minister’s 2013 Christmas card for charities is Peter Howson’s Artaban
Just glad that I am not on his Christmas Card list.
- Glasgow helicopter crash: now the questions – but why no black box?
Is there any history of AAIB recommendations not being implemented? I can’t remember it happening.
Usually if anything is found then a warning will be send out by them or the manufacturer long before the full report.
I was having a read at PPRUNE last night, always the best place to look after any aviation incident.
The AAIB spokesman said nothing had fallen off the helicopter, I was surprised they did not put out an appeal for people to notify the police if they found anything along the flightpath that looked as if it could be from the aircraft.
The Flight Data Recorders and Cockpit Data Recorders are now smaller but this is a small aircraft already carrying a lot of extra equipment so increasing weight and power consumption. Perhaps the critical factor should be if the AAIB find it difficult to identify the cause of small helicopter accidents because they are not fitted, if that is the case then they will recommend fitting in their conclusions. I would not be surprised if the AAIB already have a pretty good idea what happened.
- SNP MP calls for UK Conservative-Lib Dem coalition to continue for a further year
In the (hopefully unlikely) event of Yes vote perhaps separation could be delayed until 2020 if he thinks it should coincide with the UK General Election.
- Less a ‘debate’ more a screaming match for three
Wasn’t there a previous ‘debate’ on BBC Scotland or STV a few months ago where similarly the SNP people were allowed to talk over the top of the other speakers?
Eddi Reader was doing the same on Question Time last night, David Dimbleby could not shut her up. She must be one of the worst panellists that they have ever had on the programme and there have been some bad ones!
