Yeoman Bontrup to sail from Gdansk 3rd April

The Yeoman Bontrup, the bulk carrier that went on fire at the Glensanda superquarry at the start of July 2012 and whose fortunes we have followed through towages, cargo discharge at Ijmuiden, removal to the Remontowa Yard at Gdansk, repair and recent sea trials- seems to be ready to go back into service.

She seems to be scheduled to sail from Gdansk tomorrow afternoon, Tuesday 3rd April 2012, perhaps to return to service. There is no definite indication yet as to her immediate destination or ETA.

One Response to Yeoman Bontrup to sail from Gdansk 3rd April

  1. She’s in the Baltic, destination Glensanda, eta 7th Apr at 10.00. It will be interesting to see if they have relocated the conveyor elevator forward. I have not seen any pictures showing this detail.
