So, does this now mean that Cllr. Dance is barred from the election vote? If not, what was the point of the instruction by mrs L?

Even with a positive yes, a vehicular service is viable, are the government going to build the ships for a company to use them, in competition with a well established profitable competition? Is there a company willing to start a town to town service? Does anyone know? - Today’s travel updates

Sounds interesting! Newsroom, you missed out her next stop later today, which will be to announce a similar new transport initiative in Dunoon…………. - Does the new ticketing arrangement for Gourock-Dunoon ferries make Argyll Ferries redundant?
Peter, I suppose it is really the time factor. Going directly by ferry from Dunoon to Gourock , should only take 20 minutes. Going via bus could add on another 20 minutes at least, in getting to and from Western, and waiting on a ferry. Could be longer depending on ferry times, and how busy they are. So, going directly should always be quicker.

Perhaps Cllr Dance was confused between “not standing for election again” and “won’t be elected again”?

Perhaps Councillor Dance thinks that she’s one of the untouchable.

Or perhaps no one really gives a toss what Sally Loudon says.
By her own actions she has reduced the dignity and stature of her position as chief executive to the point where her credibility has disappeared and her authority is reduced to throwing snarling hissy fits at disgruntled junior employees.
So it is quite understandable when some of the rats ignore Captain Sally’s instructions to “form an orderly queue” and instead scramble for any advantage in order to grab a seat on the lifeboat.

I don’t think any of these people have any regard for the rules. They have been getting away with murder for so long, they think they are untouchable.

On the 13 April, during purdah, the dunoon paper had a picture of the photogenic! cllr marshall presenting a cheque to crossroads, but at an event some time before the ‘reporter’ had declined to take another councillors picture, and the accompanying article was in the same paper……….one rule for some eh? time to shake the lovely sally up, methinks.

Erm, both Vivien and Tony Dance are involved with the Friends of the Victoria Hall, and of course the revival of the Christmas lights.
Of course, that doesn’t mean I like them or their wacky property development antics, but I think in this case there was a legitimate reason for Vivien to be there.
And it’s up to the editor of the Advertiser to decide what to put on his front page.
