Comment posted Council issues prompt response on Martha Payne’s NeverSeconds clampdown by Gus Mackay.
Not for the first time you are talking rubbish. The main point of criticism is of the mess the council have made of this situation. The council is snp led so the buck stops with them. As I have already said snp cybernats would not have let something like this go.
The nine year old girl you refer to(her name is Martha by the way) comes out of this with tremendous credit, and of course the council should never have imposed the ban.
I along with family and friends have been donating to this charity for many years, I have several friends who are dinner ladies, and as for free speech and censorship! my opinions on that would clearly differ from yours.

- I don’t think there is any doubt you are confused.
- For Robert,
You flatter yourself, to suggest I could be upset at the performance of MacCuish is rather feeble,
If this is a good example of his leadership then god help us.
He clearly said “it’s a good thing to do changing your mind and I have certainly done that”
As for opportunities to have a go at the snp, i’m sure there will be plenty in the months and years to come if this is anything to go by.
This is not about scoring points against the snp, I can assure
you I most certainly do not worry away at it.
Hope for the future is important, and if that means finding fault with this council then so be it.
Was it not so long ago you and your cybernat colleagues were on here day and night constantly trying to destabilise the previous council?
- It’s not about what you posted it’s about what MacCuish actually said. Listen to what HE said!
- To Robert,
Ferryman may well have been asking a question (again), he was just trying to get one of you to admit Councillor MacCuish was responsible for the ban.
If you listen you will hear him say so.
- Are the snp to take credit for the money raised ?

There’s nothing worse than someone playing about with yer buttons eh!
You seem a tad insecure, are the thumbs not giving you the answers you are looking for?
- Walsh to lead all but Lib Dems, Conservatives and George Freeman
Dick Walsh would have appeared to have played a blinder during this ongoing fiasco.
He has stood back as the Snp have torn themselves apart from the inside and the outside of their own group.
Two ‘leaders’ gone since the election is hard to understand, but, as I have said on FA before they were not up to the job.
As we move forward it is only right those named by newsroom should not be anywhere near the new administration, and I would hope some of the councillors involved would not have the brass neck to take positions with additional allowances. But I doubt this will happen.
There is much to do in Argyll & Bute, it is now time the elected councillors were busy doing what they were elected for.
- SNP endgame: they ALL walked
Well said Neil, close run thing on who is talking biggest load of crap but I think you can safely give that ‘award’ to ‘dougie’.
If you have not met ‘dougie’ then let me enlighten you, he is an individual who turns up at your door and talks nonsense!
- Argyll and Bute Council: the horsetrading begins
Let’s not beat about the bush, dividing the council budget proportionately is not going to happen, so JB’s pal is talking nonsense.
Snp leader made no friends in Dunoon with his “performance” at the public meeting in the Queens Hall.
You now appear to be trying to salvage some sort of credibility for this ongoing shambles.
Given the fact you know the answer to your last question, why ask?
- SNP Constituency Association Convener’s email tells a tale
Can anyone who has given a thumbs down please explain why they are embarrassed to admit they’re from Argyll & Bute?
