Sellers from Ireland, Edinburgh, Ayrshire and Caithness, as well as from Argyll, will be at what is now an established event in the calendar, Craignish Community Company’s annual Boat Jumble and Car Boot Sale.
Craignish Village Hall and car park at Ardfern is the venue for the event on Saturday 24th March between 10.15am and 2.00pm.
This is one of a number of Boat Jumbles which take place around the country, attracting sellers and buyers, both amateur and professional, from far and wide.
Over the years an amazing number of bargains have changed hands and there are boats sailing around fitted out with weird and wonderful gadgets which were found after much rummaging amongst the stalls.
However the Craignish Boat Jumble is not just for those looking for nautical bargains.
Its indoor and outdoor tables and car boots sell ‘ordinary’ jumble as well – with bargains galore to be found for landlubbers too.
The £2 entry fee includes refreshments to revive flagging bargain hunters and with a raffle to add a bit of excitement, this will be a day out to be enjoyed by the whole family.
More details of the event are at the Crsignish Community Company’s website; and any queries should be emailed to Jan Brown at: firstname.lastname@example.org
