I wonder how may jobs have been created by Bob?
One only needs to look at the success story that Argyll College is to realise the number of full and part time positions created by MB and the board of directors.
If MB puts in 10% of his usual work ethic into A&B duties we will be 100% better served than before.

- The Dunoon passenger ferry experience
whats wrong with Hunters quay to Gourock railhead and Dunoon to McInroys point as ferry routes? these are the shortest crossings available to us.I also wonder if the taxpayers still think they should supply 2 new boats for the Govt to provide a service like the present?
- Jim Mather confirms 2011 stand down as Argyll’s MSP – with a promisory note
If our MSPs sucessor is half as diligent and focussed on representing the developing needs of Argyll and Bute residents as Mr Mather has then we should all be truly thankful.
- Promised for 2013-14: £6.7m for 3 new Cowal primary schools
A massive step in the right direction, worthwhile investment in education leads to future limitless returns.
- Major success for Dunoon Burgh Hall anniversary day
Hearfelt thanks to all the committee, volunteers and friends who combined as well as any community could to make Saturday the amazing day it was.
It truly was a privelage to be there and if pride could be a drug then I would still be on cloud 9 now!!!!
Congratulations must also go to the Cowal Pipe Band who absolutely stole the show with an exhilirating performance and all the more phenomenal considering they have only been practising as a competition band for ten weeks. I reckon they could be Cowal champions come the end of August.
Our day was curtailed due to having another event on in the hall at night, a slick production of the weakest link quiz by Dunoon community radio which was also well attended and so much fun.
All the proof required to show that Dunoon needs its Burgh Hall.
WELL DONE EVERYONE!!!!
- Job advertised for heart of Dunoon Burgh Hall regeneration
Dunoon has more than enough empty flats for sale, but the queens hall site would be ideal for a 5* hotel to cope with the demand from the Planned Burgh hall festivals.
