- Argyll and the Isles’ Secrets Collection: Castle Lachlan and Kilmorie Chapel
Great piece about a place close to me. The Strachur and District Local History Society have published a great book on the genealogical aspects of this which is available from http://www.strachurdlhs.org.uk/

For those who have wondered about my views on renewables they are published on our new Nationhood piece published today. The quote from me in this thread is in relation to the news that our community had acquired the right to buy Stronafian Forest – a right we exercised in Feb this year. In that context I was referring to the opportunity that renewables offer communities with very little other way of creating an income. And of course that was in my role as chair of the Colintraive and Glendaruel Development Trust, rather than as founder of ForArgyll.com, which are two quite different and distinct roles. Hope that clarifies matters.

In Newsroom’s absence: David Graham has this correctly. At no time in the article are any of the gentlemen named referred to as thugs. The use of the adjective ‘thuggish’ was not ascribed to any individual, but to unnamed SNP supporters’ behaviour.
- NATIONHOOD: The For Argyll Referendum Project
Like that. Actually, that was one of the major reasons for creating a project like this – take it out of the political sphere and really start looking at what things as a nation we might aspire to.
And @short and sweet – it’s only a fairy tale if you approach the future without intent. You’d have to also admit that fairy tales are a great way into the psyche of a group of people.
