- SNP departures from administration – was money a factor?
Next Council elections are in May 2017….Scottish Parliament gets 5 years as well till May 2016.
All because the Westminster Coalition put through a 5 year fixed term till May 2015…………….unless the present coalition falls out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - SNP departures from administration – was money a factor?
This SNP whip Ian McCann would not by any chance be the same Ian McCann originally from Kilsyth and now living in Edinburgh and working from SNP Headquarters.
Has he ever been in Argyll and Bute?
Did the SNP group of Councillors agree that he be the whip for them?
Something fishy about this level of whipping from SNP HQ if it is the same Ian McCann! - SNP departures from administration – was money a factor?
SNP whip Ian McCann! Who he….
The group whip is usually the member of the political group who knows everyone..is trusted by the group..and elected by the group.
Not an outsider…. perhaps in someone outwith the groups influence or control! - Argyll and Bute Council: the horsetrading begins
It was the 13 SNP councillors who agreed who their two leaders were and both have stood down
within a 12 month period.
Unstable and consensual Govt from an SNP led admin with the SNP taking Chair and V/chair of all 4 local area committees.
All power corrupts unless accountable. Even the previous admin acknowledged the role of the opposition councillors in local decision making senior positions. - SNP endgame: they ALL walked
Who elected James Robb as the leader of the SNP group?
Who to an SNP Councillor has left James Robb to hang out to dry?
Same people who could have voted for a new leader for the SNP group.

David, St.Andrews day may be symbolic to some here in Scotland, and quite rightly so, however, it is in my opinion under celebrated for precicely the reason of us not being an Independent country. Sadly we seem get more celebrating of all things British rather than that of the very country we reside, a sad fact. This can be expected for many reasons but one which to me appears obvious is the lack of Scottish history in schools, no wonder some grow up with little or no sense of belonging.

Well done Bob, lets hope others are influenced and take your lead just like the party you and many others follow by pursuing and investing in clean renewable energy sources, ban on smoking in public places, free prescriptions for all etc etc. You seem to be doing a cracking job in Oban and need you in good health to continue your hard work with the ‘Yes’ campaign. Regarding the latest polls ife, cast your mind back to the Scottish elections, (SNP’s second term) when the SNP turned around a large percentage deficit in the polls leading up to the election, in fact they didn’t just turn it around they pulverised the other excuse for so called ‘for Scotland’ parties.

Great idea, because remember-
On referendum day, you will have the opportunity to choose the Scotland you want. If you vote No you will have that choice only once and then you hand the real decisions back to London..
If you vote YES you will have the chance to choose your Scotland, not only once, but again and again from then on.
Scotland will always be your choice.
Vote YES. It’s your Scotland for ever.
It’s your NHS. Forever
They’re Your Jobs. Forever.
They’re Your Schools. Forever.
It’s Scotland’s Choice. Forever.
