My personal advice for Luss is get here …

Comment posted A new song, choirs, MOVE pipes and drums: Argyll’s welcome for the Olympic Torch – and Myles Clark by Crazy She-Bat.

My personal advice for Luss is get here early to get in the car park. Couple of the restaurants do breakfasts and the village shop does a damn fine sausage, bacon and egg roll.

Then get yourself a nice wee place along the front with a good view of the pier. Bring your own chairs LOL

  2. Hiya, we had our last day of a weeks holiday in Tarbet, and saw both the torchbrearers and the music – all very inspiring. We particulalry enjoyed Move, and Beacon Hill – a fantastic mix of traditional and contemporary music. Heading back to England tomorrow, and this has definately rounded of a great holiday, thanks and well done!

  3. to Liz Reilly,
Thank you so much for the positive comment on the music which was staged on the day. The Choir and Bands all loved being part of the day and that shone through.
