Hazard warning for A83

(Update 11th August 2011: This hazard warning remains in place.)

With serious rainfall expected to continue today on the west coast, a warning has been issued (10th August 2011)  of increased risk of landslip on the A83 at Rest and Be Thankful.

Drivers are advised to ‘exercise extreme caution’ in travelling on the threatened section of the road – between Ardgartan and the head of Loch Fyne.
