Take a day off to recharge: LORN Spring Fayre Thursday 21st April

How does this menu grab you? This is the food available to eat on the day, courtesy of Criomagan.

  • Lentil Soup
  • Boeuf Bourguignon
  • Salmon Pastilla
  • Venison Meatballs
  • Bean and Split Pea Chilli
  • Lemon Cake
  • Scones Jam Cream

And then there’s fresh hebridean lamb, fresh pork, baking, smoked and fresh fish, delicious preserves, and all the creativity of the local artisans: celtic art, silk scarves, jewellery, hand knitting, herbal gifts.

This is all pretty heady stuff  in the midst of all the angst over the communities facing a death warrant if the council closes their schools (and two – Achaleven and Ardchattan, are in North Lorn).

If you’re starting to feel light-headed at the munificence of this level of hedonism, you can chill out with a reiki or physiotherapy taster session – and then go full belt for everything there is.

LORN (Local Origins Rural Network) invite you to celebrate the best of North Argyll at the Spring Fayre, to bring your friends, to chill out for lunch at Kintaline Farm in Benderloch: 10.00 am to 3.00 pm. Just follow the signs.
