Between the end of February 2010 and the end of February 2011, For Argyll’s audience grew by 159.6%.
This is also a highly informed audience marked by its engagement with ideas and issues, as well as by tolerance, humour and wit.
We learn from you and delight in your contributions. Thank you.

Well Done! to ForArgyll ! but it is no surprise to many of us who find that the local press tends to shy away (or be warned off ) from airing local issues of contention. I have learned more genuine local news from this site in 2 months than I did from the Oban Times in decades!

Congratulations – always plenty to think about – and with tolerance as well as humour and wit. Your coverage of the A&BC education debate must have done wonders for the audience figures, so let’s hope they remain high even without this sort of desperate shambles to be picked over.

Where else would we get local news..local views..vocal volleys and cracking one-liners?

This is the first place that I go to hear the news about my locality however good or bad it might be and the comment is usually of a high standard even when I find myself bucking the trend. You go where others don’t and you certainly deserve all the success that you have attracted.

Just out of interest, is your web traffic independently audited?
Do you use google analytics? That’s a great place for finding out where everyone is ‘tuning in’ from!

For Sonia: Yes and we’ve used Google Analytics from the outset. Great resource.
