Not the usual wildlife crossing the Rhu cycle path

Starfish on the path at Rhu Peter Storch

Are starfish to be found in the Gareloch with any frequency? Or what about on the cycle path at Rhu?

Peter Storch happened to have his camera to hand and puts this down to a poor grip by an overflying seagull.

    Or – if hundreds of these are found on the Rhu cycle path – like the birds falling from the skies in Italy and in Arkansas, we really will start to wonder what’s going on at Faslane. Does this starfish look irradiated?
